1. Check what you already have
Look in the fridge, freezer, and pantry first. Add only what is running low, so you don’t buy doubles.
2. Plan a few meals
Pick 3 to 5 dinners for the week. Write down every ingredient you don’t already have. A recipe photo works too.
3. Add your staples
Milk, bread, eggs, fruit — the things you buy every week. Keep a running list so they’re never forgotten.
4. Group items by aisle
Sort the list into produce, meat, dairy, bakery, frozen, and pantry. You walk each aisle once instead of zig-zagging.
5. Check this week’s flyers
Compare your list against local sales before you go. Swap brands or stock up when a staple is on sale.
6. Check items off as you shop
Cross items off in the store so you can see at a glance what is left.
The shortcut
Snap List does steps 4 to 6 for you. Photograph your handwritten list or recipe and it sorts items by aisle. Pro members can see which items are on sale nearby, and checked items move out of the way.
